After taking a leave of absence, CNN anchor Jim Sciutto is anticipated to return to the airwaves in a few weeks, the network’s Reliable Sources newsletter said on Thursday.
After the network looked into the journalist’s dramatic fall in Amsterdam earlier this year, Sciutto has been off the air this week on “personal leave,” according to The Daily Beast.
The anchor and his producer apparently stopped in Amsterdam on their way home from a reporting trip to Europe to cover the conflict in Ukraine.
The Daily Beast claims that CNN personnel generally fly directly from Poland back to the United States.
