Former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper, Paul Robinson, has claimed that Arsenal may not win the Premier League title for another 20 years if they blow their chance this season.
Arsenal has suffered a drop in form in recent weeks, which has seen reigning champions Manchester City catch up with them in the table.
Man City is at the top of the table at the moment with 51 points in 23 games thanks to their greater goal difference.
Arsenal, however, has a slight advantage, having played one less game than City but Mikel Arteta’s side has every reason to be concerned with their recent display.
However, Robinson has now taken to Twitter, claiming that Arsenal might have to wait another 20 years for the Premier League title if they miss their chance this season.
Robinson tweeted: “If Arsenal doesn’t win the title this season, then I don’t think they will for another 20 years. Everyone’s getting stronger.”
