A popular Nigerian cleric, Pastor Adewale Giwa, has stated that he had warned Nigerians over the current predicament in the country.
Giwa, who is the Senior Pastor of the Awaiting the Second Coming of Jesus Christ Ministry, Akure, Ondo State, disclosed that the situation ought to have been corrected during the 2019 polls.
“We can now see what they have turned Nigeria into. People who work hard for their money can no longer have access to it in banks. This is due to bad leadership.
“Those who supported the move of redesigning our naira are the ones now castigating the Central Bank of Nigeria. All the policies implemented by APC since 2015 are anti-democratic. Should we talk of what we went through during Covid-19 lockdown, NIN registration.”
As regards the 2023 polls, the pastor said “two thieves are in the race. One of the thieves will favour the masses a little bit while the other one will favour the touts and his family.
“Also one of them will oppress the masses. The other one will not oppress but will be very corrupt. He will perform but not to the expectations of the people. That is the difference.
“Obi is not in the race. He can not win a single state.”
