Joanie Scott Death – The victim of a deadly car accident that occurred in Roanoke County on Monday has been identified as Joanie Scott of Goodview, Virginia.

Early on Monday morning in Roanoke, a single-vehicle collision claimed the life of Scott, 20.

According to accounts, Scott was a passenger in a car that crossed centerlines and left the road around 1:15 a.m. on Monday in the 2600 block of East Ruritan Road in Roanoke for an unknown reason, possibly connected to speed.

The driver and two additional passengers were taken to a nearby hospital with less serious wounds.

At the scene, Scott, who was ejected from the car after the collision, was identified as having died from blunt force trauma.
