Josée Savaria Death – We are heartbroken to report the passing of the wonderful and talented Josée Savaria, a valued friend and fellow artist. At the Southlake Regional Health Center last night, Josée died away quietly. We shall mourn her zest for life and dedication to the arts, but her light will live on in her artwork.
She was a genuinely vivacious, cheery, and kind girl whose love of life and character will live on in memory. She is leaving behind stunning artwork that will live on in memory. I’m so sad for her loss and still find it hard to comprehend it. She’ll be terribly missed.
Josée has made immeasurable contributions to the Newmarket art scene ever since the NGA was founded. Her outstanding expertise has served as a pillar for the past 15 years while also serving as a mentor to many local artists.
Our thoughts are with her family and close friends.
