Juma Kiplenge Death – After a brief illness, senior attorney Juma Kiplenge, who had defended the late President Daniel Arap Moi in court, passed suddenly.
Jedida Wairimu, Kiplenge’s wife, confirmed the lawyer’s passing.
The revelation, according to Wairimu, shook the family.
He was ill two weeks ago, and on Friday, October 7, he sadly departed away, she said.
As funeral and burial arrangements got underway, Kiplenge’s body was transported to Umash Funeral Home in Nakuru.
The deceased lawyer’s family and friends also set up a WhatsApp group to help with the preparations for the lawyer’s funeral.
Member of Congress Taity A close family friend, William Kamket, led friends and customers in paying respects to the deceased.
Kenyans also praised Kaplenge on social media as a brilliant attorney who defended Mzee Moi in his private legal battles.
In 2019, the former president was represented by a legal team under the senior counsel.
