Mrs. Kelly Burke Adams, 55, of Boaz, Alabama, passed away at Marshall Medical Center South on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at eleven o’clock in the morning, Bro. David Martin and Bro. Terry Burke will preside over the funeral ceremony at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. She will lie in state at the church on Tuesday from 10 until the start of service. The church will be open for visitation on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
On October 1, 1966, Mrs. Adams was born in Alabama to Ricky and Mary Lowery Burke. She was a cornerstone of the community as well as the marketing director for People’s Independent Bank. She gave her everything as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Her spouse is the only survivor of Mrs. Adams: Jabin and Kaitlyn Adams of Boaz, Megan & Adam Keenum of Boaz, Rex Adams of Boaz, Son & Daughter-in-Law: Bryson Keenum and Raelyn Jane Keenum, their grandchildren. Parents are Ricky and Mary Burke of Boaz. Amanda and Dewayne Brown of Guntersville are the sister.
Bo Cooper, Cason Cooper, Darrell Nicholson, Mickey Perigo, Jack Hancock, and Chris Watkins will serve as pallbearers. The staff of People’s Independent Bank and the Mt. Vernon Women’s Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The Shepherd’s Cove Hospice, 408 Martling Road, Albertville, AL 35951, The Child Advocacy Center, 1620 Railroad Avenue, Guntersville, AL 35976, or 3509 Sorter Drive, Guntersville, AL 35976 are suggested by the family in place of flowers.
