Lara Curry Death – The community at Freeman High School laments the untimely passing of social studies instructor Lara Curry.
Curry passed away on October 8. Her death, which Principal John Marshall described as “devastating” for everyone, especially the pupils enrolling in their classrooms this fall, was revealed to the school community on Monday morning.
Curry, a former Freeman student, was recognized as the institution’s teacher of the year a few years ago.
Marshall informed the Freeman community in an email that he would attend all of Curry’s courses today and on Tuesday, and that school administrators would see to it that pupils had access to the tools they needed to deal with the tragedy.
