Ms. Lillian Jones 11/1/1927 – 3/7/2022 Portage The local resident passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022. She was the daughter of Mathias and Caroline (Messinger) Ascherl and was born on November 1, 1927, in Chicago, Illinois. She wed Nyel Jones on February 23, 1952, and the two were together for 55 years before his death in 2007. They have taken pleasure in bowling, dancing, golfing, and travel over the years.
Lillian had been attending St. Augustine Catholic Church for a very long time. She leaves behind friends, nieces, and nephews. Arnold and Fredrick Arscherl, her two brothers, predeceased her.
