The day before his 70th birthday, on October 10, 2022, Nick Mikoff passed away in the company of his 50-year partner Barb (Sproull) Mikoff, son Aaron, daughter-in-law Emily, grandchildren Kara, Nate, and David, big brother Roscoe and wife Rosie, sister Karen and her husband Terry, and sister Sue and her husband Garry, who never left his side.
All of the aforementioned, as well as his mother-in-law June Sproull, his younger brothers Bob Sproull and his wife Kathie, and Gary Sproull and his wife Carol, as well as a large number of cousins, nieces, and nephews, friends, and our extended family, Matt, Dianne, Dillon, and Hayley Neibel, are left to carry on his legacy.
His devoted dad Roscoe R. Mikoff, Sr., his mother Dora Mikoff, and his father-in-law Robert J. Sproull predeceased him.
Having worked for Olin Brass for 33 years, he retired. He served as a volunteer EMT and firefighter with the Fosterburg, Bethalto, and Brighton Fire Departments over the years.
As a husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Nick was excellent. He will regret it.
