Rudy Thompson III Arrested – The person driving the vehicle who was detained following a fatal suspected DUI crash in Guilford County early on Sunday morning has been identified as Rudy Thompson III of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Hugo Sarceno Hernandez, 24, of Greensboro, was killed in a two-vehicle collision with a suspected drunk driver on Sunday morning.
Around 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, Hernandez was driving a 2006 Toyota Corolla out of a parking lot and onto Randleman Road when Thompson’s Volkswagen Passat collided with the Toyota.
Hernandez passed away as a result of wounds sustained in the collision.
After being detained, Thompson is being accused of the following:
aggravated felony motor vehicle death
Driving under the influence
Thompson was issued a $25,000 bond for driving with a suspended license.
