Samantha Henderson, a teenager from Lyndon, was killed in an ATV accident in Caledonia County in September. The suspects who were apprehended Saturday morning have been named as David Lauderbach of Williston and Christopher DeGreenia of Sheffield.
Both Lauderbach, 38, and DeGreenia, 33, were detained on suspicion of various offenses, including possession of stolen items and Lauderbach’s alleged leaving the scene of the accident.
On September 22, 2022, Henderson, 19, perished in the Sheffield ATV accident.
The teen was killed in the crash in October because the ATVs were stolen in September.
Vermont state police executed a search warrant at a home belonging to the suspects who had been previously identified as having stolen the cars involved in the fatal collision on Saturday morning.
The suspects were taken to the Williston Police Department so that they could be processed and their fingerprints taken. At the Northwest Correctional Facility in St. Albans, they were both housed.
