His parent Ollie Reeves predeceased him. He is survived by his wife Martha Melendez of Clifton, his children Schavaria, Sky (Alex), and Kayloni Burton, as well as his brother Ernest Reeves. Also left behind are numerous nieces and nephews.

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11:00 AM, The Chapel hosted a funeral ceremony (264 Jacksonville Rd, Lincoln Park, NJ 07035).
