Sheriff Samdahl Death – After a cancer struggle, Sheriff Samdahl died away Friday morning. Throughout his illustrious career, Sheriff Samdahl provided distinguished and devoted service to Pembina County. Additionally, he was the NDPOA Peace Officer of the Year Award winner. He taught several of his coworkers and colleagues a lot.
His legacy will live on in the annals of Pembina County and North Dakota law enforcement. The original #4510, he was. Since he had been using the unit number 4510 for so long, he claimed that switching to the Pembina County Sheriff’s number, 4500, would be like calling him by a different name.
