In Altus, Oklahoma, Susan Winters was born in March 1966. She passed away when she was 48 years old. After completing her legal education at the University of Oklahoma, she relocated to Nevada to work as a district attorney for Clark County.
Danny and Avis Winters’ daughter Susan Winters was born. Susan’s suicide was announced over the phone to her parents. Her parents weren’t entirely certain about this.
She had two daughters, Danny said. More than anything else, she adored them. She wouldn’t have done it where it would have taken a full day to complete if she had intended to commit suicide in front of those girls.
Now that justice has been served, her parents are joyful, and her father, Avis, stated in court:
Because we always thought this case was a murder case, in addition to losing Susan, we also lost our relationship with her daughters. Sometimes the sadness is too much to bear, but we are confident that God is in charge and will finally bring Susan’s case to justice.
When Susan Winters passed away, she was legally wed. In August 1995, she wed Henderson psychologist Gregory Brent Dennis, with whom she had two kids. Her spouse killed her, and he is currently serving time in prison.
