Tod DiMinno Death – The body of a missing Harmony businessman was discovered in the Allegheny River on Saturday in Pittsburgh’s North Shore.
Around 12:45 p.m., according to Allegheny County 911 dispatchers, police, firefighters, and ambulances were sent to North Shore Drive and Art Rooney Avenue.
Divers who were looking for two missing people in the river discovered the body and called the police.
Tod DiMinno, a businessman from Harmony who was 54 years old, was identified as the individual inside the car by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner.
DiMinno was last seen on September 28 in Harmony Borough and had been reported missing and in danger.
DiMinno was located by a diving team that is a member of a YouTube diving team that specializes in solving cold cases involving people who are missing and whose vehicles have also vanished. They claimed to not be hunting for DiMinno but expressed hope that his family will find peace as a result of the circumstance.
The most important outcome of this is that a family has now been provided with answers, according to Doug Bishop of Adventures With a Purpose.
The divers were searching for Bunnie Lee, 78, who vanished from Homewood in 2013, and Janet Walsh, 70, who has been missing since 2020 from Shaler Township.
According to Bishop, “We found this car underwater quite early in our search.”
