Tony Deluca Death – Sadly, American politician Anthony “Tony” M. DeLuca, 85, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, passed suddenly late on Sunday night, October 9, 2022. He had been a Pennsylvania State Representative since 1983.
The news of Tony Deluca’s passing saddens us. He was the longest-serving state legislator for Allegheny County, and he lived for his constituents. He was constantly considering what would be best for the working people of his beloved Penn Hills.
Election after election, his dedication to his district’s residents was rewarded because they knew he was always there to serve them. Governors, US Senators, and other prominent individuals from the federal, state, and local levels attended his annual picnic in Penn Hills Park, which was always a highlight of the political year.
Tony won’t be forgotten easily.
