Sadly, Willie Spence has passed away. The season 19 runner-up of “American Idol” has died at the age of 23 after a horrific car accident in Nashville, Tennessee.
The singer of “Never Be Alone” passed away, according to Douglas Now news on Tuesday, October 11. The statement stated, “Douglas native and Season 19 runner-up on American Idol Willie Spence, 23, passed away due to injuries incurred in an automobile accident in Tennessee.” There are still many unanswered questions regarding the unfortunate tragedy.
K. Michelle sent a moving tribute to Willie on her Instagram page after hearing the tragic news of his departure. The website also has a number of old pictures and videos “”Honestly, I’m in shock,” the singer of Can’t Raise a Man stated. I’m crying now. Lord Willie, please.”
Willie was described as “one of [her] favorite rebels” by K. Michelle. The 40-year-old musician continued by saying, “You just dm last week about my new single,” when they last spoke.
