Yishun 19 year old Murder: Sylesnar Seah Jie Kai Killed Eddie Seah Wee Teck Faces Death Penalty

Eddie Seah Wee Teck Death: On Wednesday (12 October), a 19-year-old was accused of killing his own father on Monday in their Yishun apartment. Vicim has two sons and a daughter.

Eddie Seah Wee Teck, 47, who was discovered lifeless and covered in blood outside of his living unit at Block 653, Yishun Avenue 4, is accused of being killed by Sylesnar Seah Jie Kai.

According to The Straits Times, the adolescent appeared in court via video link while sporting a blue mask and polo T-shirt. He didn’t look up during the proceedings.

Police have asked that he be brought out to help with the investigation while also being remanded in custody at Central Police Division. The teen was granted a two-day remand by District Judge Terence Tay.

On Thursday, Sylesnar will make another appearance in court. Murderers are subject to the death sentence.

The victim and his wife are listed as partners in a company that engages in the buying, selling, and renting of properties, according to the Straits Times.

The pair has two sons and a daughter, and they have been married since 1994. They think Sylesnar is the youngest of their children.

The man was discovered on Monday with his face and clothes soaked in blood before he fainted on the ground outside his flat, according to family neighbors who spoke to The Straits Times.

When authorities arrived on the site after receiving a call for assistance at 7:05 p.m., they saw the man lying still.

Paramedics pronounced him dead, and Sylesnar was taken into custody there.
